Beautiful means fair, sustainable and organic.
"Of course I'm interested in the FUTURE.After all, I want to spend the rest of my life in it."
Hey, we’re AESTHETIKA, Malu and Yves. Together we founded the label in 2013. Since then we produce ecological, fair and sustainable streetwear from the heart of Berlin, our home district Kreuzberg.
Our streetwear is characterised by the fact that it is hand-printed by us using the screen printing process. And of course all products are produced under fair conditions. Of course, this includes fair wages, but also sustainable raw material production. All the cotton is organic and the polyester used is recycled from old plastic bottles.
From Tuesday to Saturday from 12 a.m. to 7 p.m. we are at Graefestraße 80 in the heart of Berlin/Kreuzberg for you.
Besides our own textiles from ÄSTHETIKA we also have organic cotton jeans from MUD Jeans, sustainable backpacks and bags from SANDQVIST, as well as books from our favourite publisher KORBINIAN. In addition we have wonderful, graphic jewellery of our neighbour Julia Reiner and ceramics of NOTON, which is handmade in Berlin in small edition.
We are a highly committed and interacting team of two, with our design studio in the heart of our hometown Berlin. Our designs are created and printed here in our own screen-printing workshop.
Our workshop is equipped with its own screen-printing carousel. Here we produce all prints by hand, individual differences in the printing process make each piece unique.
Sustainability is our thing! Starting with the material, we consciously select organic cotton, which complies with the high environmental standards of GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards).
Feel the love! Quality, care and love characterize the production process of our streetwear. We do our best to ensure that you will enjoy our products often and love them for a long time.
Our lifestyle inspires us to create modern sustainable clothing – the kind you want to reach for every day and which will last you longer than a single season. Quality, fair production and timeless design characterize our streetwear essentials.
What happens to recycled PET bottles? They are, for example, the starting base of polyester fibers for our fabric blends. The material is extremely versatile, from fleecy to airy – but always durable and lasts frequent washing.
In collaboration with selected local manufacturers all steps of the production process take place in the capital. Thereby, we support local craftsmanship.
A makeover and new design for special vintage clothing. We upcycle treasured items and give them a new lease of life, to turn them once again into favorite pieces.
